About this item
Out-of-print sets are hard to find, so these 8BitDo NES retro keycaps tend to catch the eye of collectors and custom keyboard builders. The set has an NES-style theme, uses dye-sub PBT in an MDA profile and is made for MX-style stems. It's open box at $50.90.
Will these MDA PBT keycaps fit my mechanical keyboard?
They're made for MX-style switches, so most keyboards with that stem should work. Whether the set covers your layout is the bigger question.
- Check the photos to see if the set covers your layout, including spacebar and modifier key sizes.
- Since it's open box, count the keycaps or ask the seller if the set is complete.
- MDA is a sculpted profile and feels different from flat or OEM-height keycaps.
- Look for shine or marks on the legends.
A fun finishing touch for a retro-themed setup.
