About this item
Typists who get sore wrists on a standard board often end up with a Corne low profile split keyboard, and this SZRKBD Choc Corne V4.1 is a mechanical, backlit version of the design. The two halves sit apart so your arms can stay at a more natural width. It's listed new at $99.95.
Is a Corne low profile split keyboard hard to learn?
Expect an adjustment period. Corne boards use a compact layout, so numbers and symbols usually sit on layers you'll need to practice.
- Built or kit: check whether it arrives assembled and whether switches and keycaps are included.
- Choc switches: low-profile Choc keycaps differ from standard ones, so confirm compatibility before buying extras.
- Connection: the title doesn't say wired or wireless, so read the listing.
- Firmware: look for notes on how to change the keymap.
A strong option for programmers and writers who spend long days typing.
