About this item
If you need a big-screen laptop for under $125, this certified refurbished Acer Chromebook 315 is worth a look. It has a 15.6-inch display, an Intel Celeron N4500 at 1.1GHz, 4GB of RAM and a 64GB SSD. That covers web browsing, Google Docs, streaming and school assignments.
Is a Celeron N4500 Chromebook with 4GB RAM fast enough?
For light tasks with a few tabs open, yes. With many tabs or heavy multitasking, 4GB will feel tight. It suits kids, seniors and backup use better than power users.
- Check the auto-update expiration date to see how long it will receive ChromeOS updates.
- Read the refurbishment notes for battery and cosmetic grading.
- Confirm a charger is included.
- With 64GB of storage, plan to keep most files in the cloud.
