About this item
Want to try different switches without soldering? The Keychron K8 hot-swappable mechanical keyboard lets you pull out and replace switches, and it connects by Bluetooth or wired USB. At $37 open box, it's a low-risk way into the hobby for students, programmers and anyone building a first custom setup.
Bluetooth or wired: how does the Keychron K8 connect?
It does both. Use Bluetooth for a cleaner desk, or plug in over USB when you prefer a cable or want to skip pairing.
- Switches: check which switches are installed and that none are missing.
- Cable: confirm the USB cable is included for wired use.
- Battery: ask how well it holds a charge if it's been used.
- Keycaps: check the photos for wear and for the layout you need.
