About this item
At $39.99 open box, the Cherry MX 3.0 S wired mechanical gaming keyboard is an affordable way to get a metal-framed board. The light gray aluminum housing looks cleaner than most budget plastic keyboards. It works equally well on a gaming rig or a minimalist office desk.
Which switches does this Cherry MX keyboard use?
The title doesn't name the switch type, which shapes how the board feels and sounds. Check the description or the photos of the box before you buy.
- Housing: aluminum can show dents or scratches, so review the close-up photos.
- Cable: it's wired, so confirm that the cable is present and undamaged.
- Layout: look at the photos to see whether it has a number pad.
- Open box: the keycaps should be complete, with no shine.
A good pick if you want a metal build on a tight budget.
