About this item
The Dell UltraSharp U4025QW 40-inch curved monitor gives you a 5120x2160 IPS screen at 120Hz, with a built-in Thunderbolt hub to cut down on cable clutter. It's listed new at $1,000 and is aimed at creators, developers and anyone who works across many windows.
Can a 40-inch ultrawide replace a dual-monitor setup?
For many people, yes. One wide curved screen gets rid of the bezel gap between two monitors, which helps with editing timelines, spreadsheets and side-by-side documents.
- Check the listing for the Thunderbolt version and whether the monitor can charge a laptop.
- Measure your desk's width and depth, because a 40-inch curved screen takes up real space.
- Confirm the stand and cables are included.
- Make sure your laptop or graphics card can output 5120x2160 at 120Hz.
