About this item
Laptop users building a docked workstation should look at the Dell U2725QE 27-inch 4K Thunderbolt hub monitor. Its 3840 x 2160 panel shows sharp text for spreadsheets, code and photo work, and the Thunderbolt hub design lets a compatible laptop connect through the monitor. This one is open box at $325.
Is a 4K Thunderbolt hub monitor worth it for a laptop?
If you dock a laptop every day, a hub monitor can replace a separate dock and a pile of adapters. Check that your laptop has a Thunderbolt or compatible USB-C port.
- Cables: confirm the Thunderbolt cable and power cord are included.
- Stand: make sure the stand is in the box.
- Panel: if the photos are unclear, ask the seller about dead pixels or marks.
- Charging: the title doesn't state laptop charging wattage, so verify it in the listing.
