About this item
If you want smooth motion without paying 4K prices, look at the Alienware AW3225DM curved gaming monitor. Its 31.5-inch QHD (2560 x 1440) panel runs at up to 180Hz with a 2ms response time, and this unit is listed open box at $219.99.
Is 180Hz QHD worth it for competitive gaming?
QHD keeps high frame rates within reach of midrange graphics cards. 180Hz makes fast motion in shooters and esports games look sharper than on a standard 60Hz screen.
- Who it suits: PC gamers who also want a big curved screen for streaming and work.
- Check the box: make sure the stand, power cable and display cable are included.
- Panel inspection: ask the seller about dead pixels or scratches.
- Connection: check which ports support the full 180Hz.
