About this item
At $130, this open-box HP EliteDesk 800 G3 mini desktop is a budget way to get an i7-7700T (2.90GHz), 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. The small chassis tucks behind a monitor or onto a shelf, which is why buyers use machines like this for small offices, homework stations and home servers.
Is the HP EliteDesk 800 G3 still good for office work?
For documents, email, web apps and video calls, the SSD and 16GB keep things responsive. It isn't built for modern gaming or heavy video editing.
- Windows: check whether an operating system is installed and which version, since older processors may not officially support Windows 11.
- Power adapter: confirm it's included, as it's easy to leave out of open-box lots.
- Wireless: the title doesn't mention Wi-Fi, so plan on Ethernet or a USB adapter unless the listing says otherwise.
