About this item
Need something simple for homework and web apps? This new HP Chromebook 14 G7 runs a dual-core Intel Celeron N4500 with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage on a 14-inch 1366 x 768 display. At $350, it's aimed at students, classrooms, kids and anyone who does most things in a browser.
Is the HP Chromebook 14 G7 good for students?
For Google Docs, research, online lessons and video calls, yes. It isn't meant for heavy gaming or video editing, and the HD screen is basic rather than sharp.
- 8GB RAM: lets you keep more tabs open than many budget Chromebooks.
- Update support: look up the auto-update expiration date for this model.
- School management: ask whether the device is enrolled in or locked to a school or company.
- Charger: confirm it's included, since the title doesn't say.
