About this item
Need a simple, low-cost laptop for homework or browsing? This Acer Chromebook 315 with a 15.6-inch screen runs ChromeOS on an Intel Celeron N4500 with 4GB of DDR4 memory and 64GB of eMMC storage. It's listed new at $134.95.
Is the Acer Chromebook 315 enough for students?
For Google Classroom, Docs, web research and streaming, yes. ChromeOS is lightweight, so modest hardware goes further than it would on Windows. With 4GB of RAM, keep the number of open tabs reasonable.
- 64GB of eMMC storage is small, so expect most files to live in Google Drive.
- Check the listing for the auto-update expiration date, which tells you how long the Chromebook will get updates.
- Make sure the charger is included.
- Look for notes on the screen type and keyboard layout.
It's a good fit for younger students, seniors and anyone who needs a second device. Your purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
