About this item
The GMK UNIQEY Retrocast base set gives a custom mechanical keyboard a retro look, with 148 pieces listed new at $70.00. It's aimed at enthusiasts who build or refresh their own keyboards and want a full base kit in one purchase.
Will a 148-piece keycap set fit my keyboard layout?
A 148-piece base set usually covers common layouts, but the title doesn't list exactly what's in the kit. Look at the kit image or key list in the listing to confirm the space bar and modifier key sizes, plus anything a split or ergonomic board needs.
- Check that the stem type matches your switches
- Confirm the keycap profile in the description
- Compare the modifier key sizes with your board
- See whether the listing mentions a keycap puller
