About this item
This pack has three syringes of silver thermal grease, which the seller describes as high performance CPU heatsink compound. That's enough for a desktop rebuild, a laptop refresh and one spare. At $7.99, this 3X pack suits gamers and students who just want paste ready for the next time they remove a cooler.
How much silver thermal grease should I apply to a CPU?
For most desktop chips, a pea-sized dot in the center or a thin spread is enough. Pressure from the cooler spreads it out, and any extra just squeezes out the sides.
- High performance: that's the seller's description. The title doesn't give a thermal rating.
- Amount per syringe: check the description or photos.
- Pack comparison: the same price can get you a different number of syringes, so compare 3-pack and 5-pack listings.
- Conductivity: check whether the paste conducts electricity before using it in a laptop.
