About this item
For basic computing on a budget, the ASUS Chromebox 5a mini PC pairs an Intel Celeron 7305 with 8GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD for $199.99, new. As a Chromebox, it runs ChromeOS and web apps rather than traditional Windows software.
Is the ASUS Chromebox 5a mini PC enough for everyday use?
For browsing, Google Docs, streaming, classroom work and digital signage, it's a sensible fit. It isn't built for gaming or heavy editing.
- Display: you'll need your own monitor, keyboard and mouse unless the listing says otherwise.
- Storage: 128GB works best if you keep most files in the cloud.
- Software: check that the apps you use run in ChromeOS or a browser.
- Power adapter: confirm that it's in the box.
It's a tidy choice for students, front desks and kiosks. Your order is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
