About this item
The power supply is the part many builders wish they hadn't skimped on. The Corsair RM850e 850W 80 Plus Gold fully modular PSU gives a gaming or workstation build 850 watts to work with. This unit is certified refurbished, described as low noise and priced at $73.40.
Is an 850W 80 Plus Gold power supply enough for your build?
Add up the power needs of your CPU and graphics card, then check the PSU wattage your GPU maker recommends. 850W covers many mid-range and high-end builds, but the most power-hungry cards may need more.
- Modular cables: confirm the full cable set is included, and never mix in cables from other power supplies.
- Connectors: check that the listing shows the GPU power connectors your card needs.
- Refurbishment details: read who refurbished it and what that covers.
- Power cord: make sure the AC cable is part of the bundle.
