About this item
The Corsair RM1200e 1200W 80+ Gold fully modular power supply is aimed at high-end desktops. Think flagship graphics cards, heavy rendering workloads or a gaming PC you plan to upgrade for years. ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 support point to modern GPU builds, and fully modular cabling means you only plug in what you use.
Do I need a 1200W PSU like the Corsair RM1200e?
Many mid-range builds don't. Power-hungry GPUs and multi-drive workstations, however, can benefit from the extra headroom. Add up your parts' power requirements before deciding.
- Cable set: a modular PSU is only useful with its cables, so confirm the listing includes them.
- Case fit: check the listing for dimensions and measure your case.
- Refurb status: read the seller's description of testing and packaging.
- Purchase cover: covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
