About this item
Building a high-end gaming rig or upgrading an older tower? The Corsair RM1000e is a 1000W, 80 Plus Gold, fully modular ATX power supply that the listing describes as low noise. This certified refurbished unit costs $80.63. Fully modular means you connect only the cables your build needs, which makes cable management easier and helps keep airflow clear.
Is a certified refurbished 1000W power supply worth it?
It can save money. Because a power supply feeds every part in your PC, read the refurbishment details closely.
- Cable kit: confirm all the modular cables are included, because matching replacements can be hard to find.
- Connectors: check that the cables meet your graphics card's power needs.
- Refurb notes: find out who refurbished the unit and what testing is described.
- Fit: measure your case's power supply bay length.
