About this item
Gamers who want a number pad without a full-width board should look at the ASUS TUF Gaming K3 Gen II 96% optical mechanical keyboard. A 96% layout fits nearly every key of a full-size keyboard into a more compact frame, which leaves extra room for your mouse. This black unit is listed as new in box at $149.99.
Is the ASUS TUF Gaming K3 Gen II good for gaming and work?
It works for both. Optical switches register keypresses with light instead of metal contacts. The 96% size handles gaming, spreadsheets and data entry equally well.
- Check the listing for the switch type and feel, since the title doesn't say.
- Confirm whether it connects by wire or wirelessly.
- Verify that the cable and any keycap puller are in the box.
- Look for a sealed box in the photos.
