About this item
The MSI GL62 15.6-inch gaming laptop pairs an i5 processor with GTX 1050 graphics, 8GB of RAM and dual storage: a 256GB SSD plus a 1TB drive. Listed open box at $400 with Windows 10, it's aimed at budget gamers and students who want room for a big game library.
Can the MSI GL62 with GTX 1050 still handle games?
It's best suited to older titles, esports games and lighter settings rather than the newest releases at high detail. Check the specific games you play against their system requirements.
- Windows 10 is installed per the title; confirm whether you'll be able to move to Windows 11.
- Check battery condition and fan noise notes in the listing.
- Verify the charger is included.
- 8GB RAM can feel tight in modern games, so ask about upgrade options.
