About this item
Competitive FPS players who want faster key resets often look for an Akko MOD68 HE rapid trigger keyboard. This Misty White aluminum unit is listed open box at $65. The title lists 8K, rapid trigger and a wired HE design in an aluminum case.
Is an open box rapid trigger keyboard worth it?
It can be, as long as the details check out. Read the description to learn how it was used and whether the switches and features were tested.
- 8K: confirm what the 8K refers to in the listing, which is usually the polling rate, and check that your PC can take advantage of it.
- Case condition: aluminum shows scuffs easily, so look closely at the photos.
- Switches and caps: check that every switch and Misty White keycap is present.
- Settings: ask the seller how the rapid trigger sensitivity is adjusted.
