About this item
Restoring a period-correct machine? This Compaq Enhanced II PS/2 keyboard in beige and gray, with an English QWERTY layout, is listed as new old stock (NOS) by an independent eBay seller for $99.99. It's a wired keyboard with the PS/2 connector found on many older PCs.
Can I use a PS/2 keyboard on a modern computer?
Only if your motherboard has a PS/2 port or you use an adapter. Results with adapters vary, so this keyboard is best suited to retro PCs and vintage collections.
- NOS meaning: the keyboard is unused but old. Ask how it was stored and check the photos for yellowing.
- Packaging: see whether the original box is included.
- Testing: ask the seller whether it has been powered on.
- Model number: match it to your system if originality matters.
Vintage or not, it's covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
