About this item
The Beelink SER9 mini PC fits the memory of a full-size desktop into a very small case: an AMD Ryzen 7 H 255, 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, in a Frost Silver finish. It's listed open box at $695.00, which makes it worth a look for creators, programmers and anyone replacing a bulky tower PC.
Beelink SER9 vs. a tower PC: what do you give up?
Mostly room to upgrade. Mini PCs give up expansion slots to save desk space, so if you might add a graphics card later, a tower is the better choice.
- Ports: the title doesn't list any, so check the USB, display and network ports in the listing.
- Monitor support: confirm how many screens it can run if you use more than one.
- Open-box contents: check that the power adapter and any mounting bracket are included.
- Software: see which operating system is installed and whether it's activated.
