About this item
Hall Effect keyboards detect key presses with magnets instead of traditional contacts. The MCHOSE Ace 68 GT combines that technology with a full-aluminum body and is made for esports players. The 68 in the name suggests a compact layout that leaves more room for your mouse, but confirm the key count in the listing. It's listed new at $145.
Is a Hall Effect gaming keyboard worth it for competitive play?
Many competitive players like magnetic switches because they respond quickly and consistently. Whether this one suits you depends on details the title doesn't cover, such as connection type and companion software, so read the listing.
- Connection: the title doesn't say, so check whether it's wired or wireless.
- Build: an all-aluminum body usually means a heavy board that stays put on the desk.
- Layout: check the arrow and function keys in the photos.
- Coverage: the eBay Money Back Guarantee covers the purchase.
This suits FPS players and anyone building a premium compact desk setup.
