About this item
Unlocking your Mac with a fingerprint instead of typing a password is the big draw of the Apple Magic Keyboard A2449 with Touch ID. The title says new, but the listing condition is open box, so read the seller's notes closely before you check out.
Will the Magic Keyboard with Touch ID work with your Mac?
Touch ID on this keyboard generally needs a Mac with Apple silicon. Check Apple's compatibility information for your exact model first, because on other machines it may only work as a regular keyboard.
- Check whether a charging cable is included.
- Look at the photos for wear on the keys and the Touch ID sensor.
- Ask the seller whether it has been unpaired from its previous Mac.
- The purchase is covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
A tidy upgrade for students and creators using a Mac desktop or a docked MacBook.
