About this item
Competitive shooters care about speed more than size, and the BenQ ZOWIE XL2546 esports monitor is built around that idea. It's a 24.5-inch 1080p screen running at 240Hz. This one is listed brand new at $215, a sensible pick for ranked players, tournament practice or anyone moving up from a 60Hz display.
Is a 24.5-inch 240Hz 1080p monitor right for competitive gaming?
Yes, if you care more about frame rate than fine detail. A graphics card has an easier time feeding 1080p at 240Hz than higher resolutions, but still check that your PC can push high frame rates.
- Connection: confirm which cable is included and which port delivers 240Hz on your system.
- Packaging: since it's listed new, look for factory packaging in the photos.
- Stand: check that the stand and base are in the box.
- Desk fit: a 24.5-inch screen keeps the whole picture within your line of sight.
