About this item
At $32.00, the new Kono KIRA 96% mechanical keyboard is an easy way into the hobby. A 96% layout packs the number pad close to the main keys, so it takes up less room than a full-size board. It also has RGB lighting, a USB-C connection and a carry case.
Why pick a hot-swap 96% mechanical keyboard?
Hot-swap means you can pull out the switches and try new ones without soldering. That makes it a great fit for beginners who want to experiment over time.
- Switch type: the title doesn't name the stock switches, so check the listing.
- Cable: see whether a USB-C cable is included along with the case.
- Layout: look at the photos to see where the arrow keys and numpad sit.
- Portability: the carry case makes it handy for students moving between dorm and library.
