About this item
A vintage look is the main draw of a YSCP typewriter style mechanical gaming keyboard. This wired model adds RGB backlighting and blue switches, and it's an open-box listing at $35.
Are blue switches good on a typewriter style keyboard?
Blue switches are generally known for a tactile, clicky feel, which fits the typewriter theme. Writers and fans of audible feedback tend to enjoy them. They can be loud in shared rooms or on voice chat, though.
- Wired setup: there's no battery or pairing to manage. Just check that the cable is shown and undamaged.
- Lighting: ask whether the RGB backlight was tested on this open-box unit.
- Keycaps: check that every keycap is present in the photos.
- Layout: the listing doesn't give the key count, so confirm whether it includes a number pad.
A budget-friendly choice for students and retro desk setups.
