About this item
For $36, the new NJ61 hollow single-mode mechanical keyboard is an inexpensive way to try mechanical switches. The hollow styling also gives it a distinctive look on a desk.
What does single-mode mean on the NJ61 mechanical keyboard?
Single-mode usually means the keyboard offers one connection method rather than switching between several. The title doesn't say which method this is, so read the description before you buy.
- Connection type: confirm whether it's wired or wireless, and which cable or receiver comes in the box.
- Layout: the 61 in the name may hint at a compact board. Check the key count and photos if you rely on arrow keys or a number pad.
- Switches: look for the switch type in the specs if you have a preference for typing feel.
- Hollow design: check the photos to see how the hollow case looks from all angles.
It's a good fit for students or first-time mechanical keyboard buyers on a budget.
