About this item
At $150, an open-box Lenovo ThinkPad T480 is one of the cheapest ways to get a 14-inch business laptop running Windows 11. This one has an Intel Core i5-8350U, 8GB of RAM, a 238GB SSD and Intel UHD 620 graphics.
What should you check before buying a ThinkPad T480?
The T480 is an older model, so the condition details matter more than the specs.
- Battery health: ask for the current capacity, since batteries wear out with age.
- Screen resolution: it isn't listed, so confirm whether the display is HD or Full HD.
- 238GB SSD: fine for documents and apps. Use cloud storage for photos and video.
- Charger and activation: verify the adapter is included and Windows 11 is activated.
It's a good fit for students, home offices or anyone who wants a machine to experiment with Linux. The integrated UHD 620 graphics rule out serious gaming. Covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
