Is a barebones Ryzen 9 7940HS mini PC worth it?
It can be, if you already own spare parts or want to pick exactly the RAM and SSD capacity you need.
- RAM format: check the listing for the supported memory type and slot count.
- SSD slots: confirm how many M.2 drives fit.
- Power supply: make sure the adapter is pictured or mentioned.
- Open-box wear: zoom in on the photos for scuffs and bent ports.
Budget for a Windows or Linux install on top of the hardware cost.
