About this item
For students and home users who need a no-fuss machine, the HP 15-fd0133wm 15.6" laptop pairs a 13th gen Intel i3 with 8GB RAM and a 256GB SSD. It's open box and listed at $215 on eBay, a low price for a silver laptop to handle notes, browsing and streaming.
Is a budget HP 15.6-inch laptop with 8GB RAM enough for school?
For documents, web apps and streaming, it generally is. Heavy multitasking or editing will feel tight, though, and 256GB of storage fills up fast if you keep a lot of files on the laptop.
- Charger: make sure the power adapter is listed as included.
- Operating system: the title doesn't mention one, so confirm what's installed.
- Battery: ask about battery health, since open-box units vary.
- Screen and body: check the photos for scuffs on the silver finish and any marks on the display.
