About this item
Here's a new Dell XPS 16 DA16250, also branded Dell 16 Premium, with an i9 Ultra processor, 64GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for $2,000. Lots of memory and a modest drive make sense for engineers, data analysts and anyone running several virtual machines, but plan for external storage.
Is 512GB enough on a 64GB RAM Dell XPS 16?
It's fine for cloud-based workflows. If you keep large local video or dataset libraries, budget for an external drive or check whether the seller mentions upgrade options.
- Warranty: the title lists a 3-year Pro+ warranty, so confirm the terms and transfer with the seller.
- Graphics and display: neither is in the title, so check the item specifics.
- Storage type: confirm the 512GB is an SSD.
- Box contents: make sure the charger is included.
Compare it with the 1TB XPS 16 setups if storage matters more to you than memory.
