About this item
This isn't a computer for modern daily use, and that's the point. The IBM ThinkCentre M50 (model 8187-43U) is a vintage desktop with an Intel 865G chipset, a Pentium 4 at 2.8GHz, 512MB of RAM and a 40GB drive. It's listed as open box for $349.00. It's for retro computing fans, collectors and businesses that have to keep running old software or old equipment.
Why buy an IBM ThinkCentre M50 today?
Old programs, period-correct games and equipment that only works with older computers often run best on original hardware like this.
- Find out which operating system, if any, is installed.
- Ask whether a power cord, keyboard or mouse is included.
- Ask the seller what "open box" means for a PC this old.
- Make sure it has the ports and drives you need.
