About this item
Home lab builders and small offices looking for a 4U rack mount server case can consider the 4508GS. It includes a lock, a fan and HDD bays for $79.99 new. A 4U chassis is taller than slimmer rack cases, which can make airflow and component choices easier for NAS, media server and storage-heavy builds.
What should you check before buying a 4U server case?
The title doesn't list the drive count, supported motherboard sizes or depth, so confirm those in the listing.
- Motherboard support: confirm that your board's form factor fits.
- Drive bays: find out how many HDD bays there are and which drive sizes they hold.
- Rack depth: measure your rack, and ask whether rails are included.
- Power supply: check which power supply size the case accepts.
