About this item
This new ASUS Chromebook CR11 11.6" (model CR1104CGA-AS44) works as a first school laptop or a simple browsing machine. It has an Intel N100, 4GB RAM and 64GB of eMMC storage for $197.99, and the small screen makes it easy to carry between classes.
Is a 4GB Chromebook enough for schoolwork?
Chromebooks are made for web apps, so 4GB is enough for online documents, video lessons and email. If you keep dozens of tabs open, you'll notice the limit.
- Storage: 64GB eMMC is meant for keeping files in the cloud, not for big local files.
- School setup: make sure it isn't enrolled in another school's or company's management system.
- In the box: check that a charger is included.
- Size: 11.6" suits kids and travel. Older students may prefer a bigger screen.
