About this item
For under $500, the new Lenovo Slim 3 15AMN8 has a 15.6-inch 1920x1080 display, an AMD Ryzen 5, 8GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, running Windows 11. It's a no-frills budget laptop for homework, email, streaming and online classes.
Is 8GB RAM enough on the Lenovo Slim 3 budget laptop?
For browsing, documents and video, generally yes. Heavy multitasking or photo editing will feel tighter, so check the listing to see whether the memory can be upgraded.
- The processor in the title reads Ryzen 5 40, which looks cut off, so confirm the full model.
- The 512GB SSD gives decent room for files and apps.
- Check that a charger is included.
- Confirm the keyboard layout if that matters to you.
