About this item
Big-screen budget buyers searching for a 17.3-inch HP laptop with an i5 will find the HP 17-cn3068cl worth a look. This open-box unit is described as never set up. It has an i5-1334U, 8GB of RAM, a 512GB SSD and Windows 11 in a silver finish for $429.99.
Is the HP 17-cn3068cl good for home and school use?
Yes, for everyday work. Browsing, streaming, spreadsheets and online classes all fit comfortably. The large FHD display is easier on the eyes during long sessions. However, 8GB of RAM limits heavy multitasking, and it isn't built for gaming.
- Open-box status: Read the seller's notes on the "never setup" claim and study the photos.
- Charger: Confirm the AC adapter is in the box.
- Upgrades: Ask whether the RAM is soldered before planning an upgrade.
- Portability: A 17.3" machine is heavier to carry every day, so weigh that for campus use.
