About this item
On a tight budget, the Razer Ornata V3 X wired membrane gaming keyboard at $19.99 open box is an easy way to start an RGB setup. It's black and low profile with Chroma RGB, and the wired connection means there's no battery or pairing to worry about.
Membrane or mechanical: is the Ornata V3 X good enough for gaming?
Membrane keys are quieter and softer than most mechanical switches. That suits shared rooms, dorms, casual players and beginners, though competitive players may prefer mechanical.
- Check the open-box photos for worn or shiny keycaps.
- Ask whether the RGB lighting was tested.
- Check the layout and whether a wrist rest is included.
- Make sure the cable is intact, with no damage near the plug.
