About this item
The ASUS TUF Gaming VG27AQL1A is a 27-inch QHD gaming monitor with an IPS panel and a 170Hz refresh rate. Its 1440p resolution looks sharper than 1080p, and the high refresh rate keeps fast shooters and racing games smooth. IPS panels are known for wide viewing angles, which also helps with photo editing and everyday work.
Is an open-box 27-inch 170Hz QHD monitor worth it?
Open box can be a good way to save on a gaming display, as long as the panel itself is in good shape.
- Panel check: look for notes about dead pixels, scratches or backlight problems.
- Stand and cables: confirm the stand, power cable and a DisplayPort or HDMI cable are included.
- GPU match: make sure your graphics card can deliver high frame rates at 1440p.
