What should you check on an open box ePBT Dreamscape keycap set?
The main risk with an opened set is missing or swapped keys. Ask the seller to confirm the key count matches what the base kit originally included.
- Compare the kit's keys with your keyboard's layout, especially the spacebar and modifier sizes.
- Check the photos for shine or wear that suggests the keycaps were used.
- Make sure the stem type suits your switches.
- Check whether the original box or tray is included, since that matters for resale value.
It's best for builders who already have a keyboard planned and want a matching theme. The eBay Money Back Guarantee covers you if the set isn't as described.
