About this item
The HP AF645A LCD8500 1U rackmount KVM console puts a monitor, keyboard and touchpad into a single rack unit. That lets admins work on servers right at the cabinet instead of wheeling over a cart. This TAA kit is listed new at $449.24 by an independent eBay seller.
What should I check before buying an HP LCD8500 rack console?
The title covers the console itself, so confirm the supporting pieces your rack needs.
- Mounting hardware: check whether rails or brackets are included and whether they fit your rack depth.
- KVM cabling: see if any cables come with it, or whether you'll need a separate KVM switch.
- Keyboard layout: confirm the language layout in the photos.
- TAA kit contents: ask the seller to list every part if the listing doesn't.
