About this item
Need a cheap, simple computer for web browsing? The Acer Chromebox CXI3 mini PC runs ChromeOS on an Intel 3867U with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of SSD storage, and this unit is listed as new and sealed. It works well as a homework station for kids, a kitchen computer, a front-desk kiosk or a machine for a grandparent who mostly emails and streams.
Will the Acer Chromebox CXI3 still get ChromeOS updates?
Every Chrome device has an update end date. Before buying, look up this model's date on Google's support page, because a sealed box doesn't reset it.
- 32GB is small, so plan on cloud storage or a USB drive.
- 4GB of RAM handles a few light tabs but not heavy multitasking.
- Confirm the power adapter is in the box.
- Unless the listing says otherwise, expect to supply your own monitor, keyboard and mouse.
