About this item
Rapid trigger is the reason most people search for a Keychron Q6 HE Hall effect keyboard. This new wired model uses magnetic switches. At $150 it brings a feature popular with competitive gamers to a Keychron board.
What does rapid trigger on a magnetic switch keyboard do?
Hall effect switches sense key position magnetically. Rapid trigger can then reset a key as soon as you start lifting it, instead of waiting for a fixed point. For fast strafing in shooters, that can feel noticeably snappier.
- Layout: the title doesn't state key count, so check the photos for the layout you want.
- Software: see the listing or Keychron's site for how actuation and rapid trigger are set up.
- Cable: it's wired, so confirm the cable is included.
- Who it suits: FPS players and typists who like to fine-tune key feel.
