About this item
The Keychron Q6 Ultra 8K polling rate aluminum wireless mechanical keyboard combines a metal build with a very high polling rate. It's listed new in black at $150. It suits gamers who want low-latency input and office users who like a sturdy board on a permanent desk.
Does an 8K polling rate keyboard make a difference?
An 8K polling rate means the keyboard reports to your computer far more often than a standard board. Serious gamers may notice the difference. For most office tasks, you won't.
- Check whether 8K polling works in wireless mode or only when wired. The listing should explain this.
- Look up the switch type in the item specifics.
- Aluminum boards tend to be heavier, so this one is better for a fixed desk than a laptop bag.
- Confirm that the cable and any receiver are included.
