About this item
Optical switches register a press with light rather than metal contacts, and that's the hook of the EVGA Z20 RGB optical mechanical keyboard. Its linear switches travel smoothly with no bump, a style many gamers prefer for fast, repeated inputs. This one is listed new at $150.00.
Who is a linear optical gaming keyboard best for?
Players in fast shooters and rhythm games often like a linear feel. Typists who want feedback may lean toward tactile switches instead.
