About this item
Students and commuters often shortlist the Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 13.5-inch touchscreen for its compact size and touch input. This open-box unit has an Intel Core i5-1135G7 and 8GB of RAM, and it is priced at $309.50. The title cuts off after 512, which most likely refers to the storage, so confirm that in the listing.
Is a Surface Laptop 4 with an i5 and 8GB RAM enough for college?
For note-taking, research, Office apps and video calls, it is a sensible spec. Heavy multitasking or creative work may push the limits of 8GB.
- Verify the storage size and the operating system version.
- Ask about battery health, since it varies between open-box units.
- Confirm that the charger is included.
- Check the photos for screen marks, because touchscreens show wear.
