About this item
For students and first-time PC gamers on a budget, the HP Victus 15.6" 144Hz gaming laptop combines RTX 3050 graphics, an Intel i5-13420H, 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD for $599. The FHD 144Hz screen shows fast games like shooters more smoothly than a standard 60Hz panel.
Is the HP Victus with RTX 3050 a good budget gaming laptop?
It is aimed at entry-level gaming, esports titles and schoolwork. The title says "brand new," but the listing condition is open box, so read the seller's notes on why.
- Condition: ask whether the box was only opened or the laptop was used.
- Storage: 512GB fills up fast with games, so check whether there is room for a second drive.
- Charger: confirm the power adapter is included.
- Battery: ask about battery health if you plan to use it on campus.
