About this item
Looking for a cheap Gateway 15.6 inch laptop for email, streaming and homework? This open box unit pairs a Full HD IPS screen with an Intel N100 processor, 4GB of RAM, a 128GB SSD and Windows 11, all for $149.99. It suits students, kids and anyone who wants a basic second computer.
Is 4GB RAM enough on this Gateway 15.6 inch laptop?
For a few browser tabs, documents and video calls, usually yes. Heavy multitasking, photo editing or gaming will feel slow, so keep your expectations realistic.
- Storage: 128GB fills up fast, so plan on cloud storage or a USB drive.
- Open box: read the seller's notes on why it was opened and what is in the box.
- Charger: confirm the power adapter is included.
- Upgrades: check the listing before you assume the RAM or storage can be upgraded.
