About this item
A round screen makes some projects possible that a rectangle can't. This 5-inch round touch display for Raspberry Pi has a 1080x1080 IPS panel and connects over USB Type-C. Makers use circular displays for smart-home dials, gauges, clocks and custom control knobs.
Which Raspberry Pi works with this round touch display?
The title doesn't say which boards are supported. Before you order, check the description for compatible Pi models, the video connection and any drivers you need.
- Video input: the title names USB Type-C, but check whether video also needs an HDMI or other cable.
- Mounting: look for mounting holes or a bezel in the photos so you can plan your enclosure.
- Software: a round screen needs an interface designed for a circle, so plan your UI.
- Cables: see which cables come in the package.
