[New System Pull] Intel Core i3 i3-14100T 2.7 GHz 4 cores 8 threads 12 MB cache

About this item

For a quiet office desktop, home server or small media PC, the Intel Core i3-14100T has 4 cores and 8 threads at 2.7 GHz, with 12 MB cache. The seller calls it a new system pull and lists it as open box. That means it was taken out of a computer and doesn't come in retail packaging.

What should I check before buying an open box i3-14100T?

Look closely at the seller's photos of the contacts and the metal top, and read the description for any testing notes.

• Motherboard support: the title doesn't list the socket or chipset, so check compatibility and BIOS version with your board maker.
• Cooler: check whether a cooler is included. If not, plan to buy one plus thermal paste.
• Graphics: check whether you'll need a separate graphics card.
• Packaging: ask the seller how the chip is protected for shipping.
